1.
Using a tile
nipper or a hammer cut your tiles into small pieces. you
can use normal tiles, old china or mosaic tiles cut into
irregular shapes. |

2. Prepare
the top of your project by painting it with diluted
white glue, choose your design and transfer it after the
glue dries, check your tiles to fit into your design,
cutting it when needed for a better fit
. |

3. Glue the
pieces on your top using tile adhesive applied straight
to the back of your tiles, make sure you glue all the
pieces. when you finish leave it to dry overnight. |

4. Mix your
grout, you can color it using crafts paint, apply it to
your surface wearing rubber gloves, and make sure to
push the grout with your fingers to fill all the small
gaps..

5. When the
grout is near dry wipe the excess from the tiles using a
damp cloth or sponge . leave it to dry overnight, and if
needed you can remove the remaining of the grout with a
dry cloth . |

6. Finish
your piece by applying paint or other decorative
additions to the un tiled surfaces. and have fun :) |
