How to cross stitch:

Cross stitching is a very easy stitch with nice results , using cotton floss and Aida fabric will give you the best finished projects to use all around the house.

1. Reading the chart:

each colored square in the chart represents one cross stitch or one half cross stitch, and each triangle is a 1/4 cross stitch or a 3/4 cross stitch. straight black or colored lines are back stitches, and a black dot is a French knot stitch, black ovals is a daisy stitch.

The chart colors key indicates the color of floss to use.. the color number is written beside the symbol used in the chart for every cross stitch..
